
Anne Heche, born May 25, 1969, was an American actress who rose to fame in the 90s because of her movies and her personal life. She began her career with soap operas, appearing in ‘Another World,’ which won her 2 Daytime Emmys. Anne found larger fame after 1997’s ‘Donnie Brasco’, ‘Volcano’ (1997), ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (1997), ‘Six Days, Seven Nights’, (1998), and Gus Van Sant’s 1998 remake of ‘Psycho’. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for the TV movie ‘Gracie’s Choice’ and was honored with a Tony nom for her work on Broadway. Anne is also a ‘Dancing With The Stars’ alum, competing in season 29.
She dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000. Their relationship was highly publicized.
Anne Heche passed away at the age of 53 after suffering injuries from a car crash in Los Angeles on August 5. A rep for the actress confirmed that she died on Friday, August 12 in a statement received by HollywoodLife.
